I used to watch coding tutorials all the time. Like literally hours of YouTube, and I felt like I was learning… until I actually tried to build something on my own.
That's when I realized I barely knew anything.
The Realization
The moment I decided to make my first real project, everything changed. I had to solve problems that tutorials never talked about. I had to Google things every 2 minutes. I had to rewrite the same function four times because it kept breaking.
But that's where I actually learned.
Building Confidence
I feel like building projects gives you this confidence that nothing else does. You learn how to think, not just follow steps. And when you finally see something working, even if it's simple, you get this crazy motivation to keep going.
My New Rule
Now I try to build something new every month. Doesn't matter if it's small or messy. As long as it pushes me.
