Hackathons are actually crazy when you think about them. You’re supposed to build something that normally takes weeks… in one or two days. But what surprised me is how much you can actually do when you don't have time to overthink.
What I Learned
During my first hackathon, I learned to:
- Work way faster
- Skip useless features
- Focus on the core idea
- Fix bugs under pressure
- Communicate better with teammates
The Energy
But the best part for me is the energy. Everyone around you is building something cool. Everyone is tired but also motivated. You basically forget everything else and just create.
Every hackathon I join teaches me something new about myself as a developer.
